YouthLaw
Your rights as a young person are important. It is essential that we all act responsibly for ourselves and also respect and acknowledge the rights of others.
At any age in can be difficult to know what your rights are, especially when you are in a situation where you have to make a quick decision but there are people who can support you to find the right information!
YouthLaw Tino Rangatiratanga Taitamariki is a free community law centre for children and young people nationwide.
They’re here to make sure children and young people get a fair go.
They provide free legal services to anyone aged under 25 who fall within their eligibility criteria, or those acting on their behalf.
They can assist on a wide range of topics relating to the law:
